LoveBugs – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the LoveBugs mobile app (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using LoveBugs, you agree to follow these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement.

3. Account Registration

You may sign in using Google, email/password, or anonymous mode (limited features). You are responsible for maintaining account security.

4. Partner Connections

When you connect with a partner using a connection code, your partner can see your shared content including:

• Mood logs & journals
• Canvas drawings
• Spark Snap photos
• Shared notes
• Date Diary entries
• Countdown events
• Game activity/results
• Avatar & bug customization

If you delete your account or disconnect, the connection ends and your content becomes inaccessible to your partner.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (photos, drawings, notes, entries). You grant us a license to store and display content to you and your partner as required for app functionality.

You agree not to upload:

• Illegal content
• Explicit or adult imagery
• Hate speech or harassment
• Copyrighted material without permission

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Premium features are purchased through:

• Google Play Billing
• Apple App Store
• RevenueCat

All payments and refunds follow platform rules. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled in your app store account.

7. Virtual Currency (Glowbits)

• Glowbits have no real-world monetary value.
• They cannot be sold, refunded, or transferred.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Abuse or hack the App
• Upload harmful code
• Access data you do not own
• Harass your partner or others
• Use the App for illegal activity

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.

10. Intellectual Property

All LoveBugs branding, design, content, UI, graphics, and app assets are owned by Newkbyte. You may not reverse-engineer or copy these assets.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without any warranties regarding performance or availability.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Loss of data
• Emotional or interpersonal issues between partners
• Device damage
• Outages or errors

13. International Use

You are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of changes.
