PicRestorer (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the PicRestorer mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App and related services.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Email address and name (if you grant access) when you sign in via Google or Apple.
• Uploaded Images: Photos you upload for restoration. Images are temporarily stored on our servers (Firebase Storage) and sent to our AI processing partner (Replicate) for restoration. Images are deleted shortly after processing is complete.
• Purchase & Billing Data: Your transaction history (credits purchased, subscription status) via Google Play or App Store.
• Technical & Usage Data: Device identifiers, operating system, app version, crash reports, analytics (via Firebase, Crashlytics, etc.).
• Support Communications: Any messages or emails you send to our support address.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

• Authenticate and manage your account.
• Provide, maintain, and improve photo restoration services using AI technology.
• Process your uploaded images through third-party AI services (Replicate) to restore and enhance photos.
• Process purchases, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud.
• Monitor performance, diagnose technical issues, and analyze usage patterns.
• Respond to your customer service inquiries and support requests.

3. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share information with:

• AI Processing Services: Replicate (replicate.com) processes your uploaded images to provide AI-powered photo restoration. Replicate's use of your images is governed by their Privacy Policy. Images are processed and then deleted by Replicate according to their data retention policies.
• Service Providers: Firebase (for authentication and storage), RevenueCat (for subscription management), Google Play, and App Store (for payments).
• Legal Authorities: If required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Third-Party Services

Our App integrates with the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Replicate (Privacy Policy) - AI image processing service that processes your uploaded photos for restoration. Your images are sent to Replicate's servers for processing and are subject to their data retention policies.
• Firebase (Privacy Policy) - Authentication, cloud storage, and analytics.
• RevenueCat (Privacy Policy) - Subscription management.
• Google Play (Privacy Policy) - Payment processing.
• App Store (Privacy Policy) - Payment processing.

5. Data Retention

We retain your uploaded images only as long as needed to perform the restoration. Images are temporarily stored on Firebase Storage and sent to Replicate for processing. After processing is complete, images are deleted from our servers. Replicate may retain processed images according to their data retention policies (typically deleted within a short period after processing). Account information and purchase history are retained as long as your account is active or as required by law.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We do not use cookies in the App. Our analytics providers may use device identifiers to collect usage data; you can opt out via your device settings.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard measures (HTTPS, secure storage, authenticated API calls) to protect your data. However, no method is 100% secure—use the App at your own risk.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes implies acceptance.
